About

I offer trauma-informed, integrative therapy for individuals and couples seeking meaningful, lasting change. Through virtual sessions, I work with clients licensed in Washington, Nevada, Maryland, and Maine to strengthen emotional resilience, self-trust, and relationship clarity. My approach is thoughtful and evidence-based, grounded in a deep understanding of human behavior, attachment, and the nervous system.

I’m Anjoli, a licensed therapist specializing in trauma-informed work with individuals and couples.

Who I Am & Who I Serve

I’m Anjoli Aisenbrey, MSSW, LICSW, a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with advanced training in trauma-informed therapy and EMDR. I work with individuals and couples who are thoughtful, high-functioning, and often outwardly successful, yet feel internally overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected. My work supports clients in developing emotional regulation, self-trust, and healthier patterns in relationships—both personal and professional.

I also specialize in couples therapy, helping partners move out of reactive cycles, improve communication, rebuild trust, and create greater emotional safety and connection. Whether clients are navigating long-standing relational patterns or a pivotal moment of transition, my approach is structured, relational, and deeply attuned.

My work is informed by a long-standing curiosity about human behavior and relationships—particularly why change can feel so difficult even when we are highly motivated. Rather than focusing solely on symptom management, I help clients understand the underlying patterns shaping their emotions, behaviors, and relationships. Therapy with me integrates evidence-based approaches, including EMDR, attachment-based, and psychodynamic frameworks, alongside practical tools that support real-world change.

I take an integrative, trauma-informed approach that considers the nervous system, relational history, and internal emotional landscape. This work is both reflective and active—supporting insight, regulation, and meaningful, sustainable growth.

Outside of my clinical work, I value time with my husband and our three cats, thoughtful conversation, learning, and being outdoors. These same qualities—presence, curiosity, and depth—shape how I show up in my work with clients.

More About Me

Anjoli Aisenbrey, MSSW, LICSW

I’m a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with over eight years of experience supporting adults through emotional, relational, and identity-level challenges. Originally from British Columbia, Canada, I now work with clients across the United States through virtual therapy and coaching.

My work is grounded in attachment theory, neuroscience, and trauma-responsive care. I often support high-functioning individuals who appear capable on the outside yet feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck in familiar patterns beneath the surface. Together, we slow things down, explore what’s driving these patterns, and create space for greater regulation, clarity, and ease.

I offer a thoughtful, grounded environment where insight and forward movement meet—so you can live and lead with more steadiness and intention.

What Guides My Work

My work is grounded in safety, depth, and intentional change. These values shape how I show up in every session and guide the therapeutic and coaching work we do together.

Safety & Attunement

I offer a steady, non-judgmental space where you feel emotionally safe, understood, and respected. True change begins when your system feels supported enough to engage.

Self-Trust & Growth

Rather than fixing or directing, I help you strengthen self-trust, clarify what matters, and grow from a grounded, internally aligned place.

Integrated Healing

I work with the whole person—integrating emotional insight, nervous system awareness, and lived experience to support meaningful, sustainable change.
